The game follows the journey of Tama, a former rogue, as he travels with the priestess Koko on a pilgrimage across the continent. After Koko's death, Tama sets out to the Necromancer's crypt in hopes of using the forbidden powers of necromancy to bring her back to life.
Ransom Notes is a party game where players are tasked with creating hilariously terrible sentences to get their point across. The game is created by Evan and Josh, who are lifelong quirky board gamers and general mischief makers. They are also the creators of popular games like Puns of Anarchy and Charty Party.
In Ransom Notes, players are given a prompt or theme and must use a limited set of words and phrases to create their sentence. The goal is to create the most absurd and funny sentences possible. The game promises to be unique every round, and has been playtested dozens of times with hilarious results.
Hazelnut Bastille is an action-packed adventure role-playing game (ARPG) with a 16-bit character design, reminiscent of the classic Zelda games. The game features real-time combat that requires tactical thinking and strategic planning. Players will navigate an expansive Overworld filled with secrets, collectibles, mini-games, and story elements, and conquer challenging Dungeons as they gain new powers and abilities to explore further.
Kingdom of Night is a story-driven, action-RPG set in a small town in Arizona during the 1980s. The game features an 80's theme and is set in an isometric view. The player takes on the role of John, who sets out to fight against a demonic invasion and save his friends after a satanic cult unwittingly summons the ancient evil, Baphomet. The game offers players the choice of three different classes, each with its own unique play style and the ability to customize abilities through skill trees.
Players will explore the vast interconnected map of Watford, interacting with a wide cast of NPCs, and battling nightmarish creatures. The game also features unique items and equipment that players can collect to become more powerful, as well as a co-op mode where players can team up with a friend to face the forces of darkness. The ultimate goal is to take down the demon lords and gain access to Baphomet's fortress, Leviathan.
MindSeize! It sounds like a thrilling sci-fi adventure with fast-paced combat, engaging exploration, and a deep story. The dual combat system and the variety of weapons and abilities give players multiple options for tackling any situation, and the different planets offer a diverse range of environments to explore. The hand-animated graphics and atmospheric soundtrack only add to the immersive experience. It's great to see that the game is being developed for PC and Switch, with other consoles in mind. Overall, it looks like a great game for fans of the Metroidvania genre.
