At GTZ, we believe in the people behind the games as much as the games themselves. Here are some of the indie projects we're proud to support — built by passionate creators who deserve your attention.
Battle Axe
A top-down arcade adventure game largely inspired by Ed Logg's classic 1985 game Gauntlet. Can be played solo or in local co-op with two players choosing their own character. The heroes must have unique abilities and weaponry that players must master in order to progress through the game.
Sword of the Necromancer
A dungeon-crawler action RPG with Rogue-like elements. The game follows the journey of Tama, a former rogue, as she travels with the priestess Koko on a pilgrimage across the continent. After Koko's death, Tama sets out to the Necromancer's crypt in hopes of using the forbidden powers of necromancy to bring her back to life.
Ransom Notes
A party game where players are tasked with creating hilariously terrible sentences to get their point across. Created by Evan and Joel — lifelong quirky board gamers and the creators of Puns of Anarchy and Charg'd Party. Players are given a prompt and a limited set of words and phrases to craft the most absurd and funny sentences possible. Unique every round, and playtested dozens of times with hilarious results.
Hazelnut Bastille
An action-packed adventure RPG with 16-bit character design, reminiscent of the classic Zelda games. Features real-time combat requiring tactical thinking and strategic planning. Players navigate an expansive Overworld filled with secrets, collectibles, mini-games, and story elements, conquering challenging Dungeons as they gain new powers and abilities.
Kingdom of Night
A story-driven action-RPG set in a small Arizona town during the 1980s. Players take on the role of John, fighting a demonic invasion after a satanic cult unwittingly summons the ancient evil Baphomet. Choose from three classes, each with unique abilities and skill trees. Features co-op, a vast interconnected map, and an ultimate goal: take down the demon lords and breach Baphomet's fortress, Leviathan.
MindSeize
A stirring sci-fi adventure with fast-paced combat, engaging exploration, and a deep story. The dual combat system and variety of weapons give players multiple options for any situation. Diverse planetary environments, hard-animated graphics, and an atmospheric soundtrack create a truly immersive experience. A must for fans of the Metroidvania genre.
