Retro Atomic Purple Switch 2 Pro-Controller: Translucent 1998 Gaming

If you were a kid in the 90s, you remember when everything suddenly went see-through. We spent years playing on gray bricks and beige boxes, but then the Atomic Purple hit and changed everything. It was the cool version of the tech we loved. We’d sit under the covers with a Worm Light, staring right through the plastic at the circuit boards and batteries that made the games work. It felt like we were holding a piece of the future.

We built this custom Switch 2 Pro-Controller because this specific clear purple is basically burned into our gaming DNA. It’s a direct callback to trading Pokémon on the playground and the first time we saw Hyrule in 64 bits. While it is a modern Switch 2 Pro-Controller, it’s a bit of a time machine. We wanted to bring back that iconic clear look because, honestly, gaming hardware just looked cooler when you could see the "ghost in the machine."

This controller is the bridge between our old childhood bedrooms and our current living rooms.

• The Nostalgia Factor: There’s a certain "click" in your brain when you play the Nintendo Switch Online library with this in your hands. Firing up Ocarina of Time or Link’s Awakening just feels right again. It’s the missing piece for those SNES, N64, and Game Boy game libraries.
  
  
• See-Through Soul: Just like our old handhelds, you can actually see the rumble motors spin and the capacitors sitting on the board. It makes the tech feel real again.
  
  
• Modern Feel, Retro Look: You get the comfort and precision of a modern Pro-Controller, but wrapped in the skin of 1998. No AA batteries or tiny screens required this time around.

• Testing: We test for quality before assembly and after. Once the final screws are tightened, your Pro-Controller will go through its second testing cycle.
• Color Programming: Your Pro-Controller will be programmed to be displayed on any Switch in its new colors.
• Original Pro-Controller: We use only original Nintendo Pro-Controllers, so your custom controller will retain all of its original functionalities: NFC for reading and writing amiibo data, accelerometers and gyro sensors for motion-control play, “HD Rumble”, and includes original USB-C charging cable.

• Orders can be canceled up to 24 hours from the time they are made.
• Unhappy with your controller for any reason after receiving it? You have 14 days to return it, unused and in its original packaging. Once we have it back in our shop, we will issue a full refund to your original payment method.
• Every order has a 90-day warranty. Beyond the 90 days, we will fix any issue for the cost of shipping and parts alone. Work is on us, so just let us know if you experience any issue.
