We are currently in that strange, quiet week between Christmas and New Year’s. The rush is over, the leftovers are in the fridge, and we finally have time to actually sit down and play some video games.
2026 is going to be an interesting one. The Switch 2 has been out for a few months now, and while the performance and experience is incredible, we’ve noticed something: everyone’s Switch setup looks exactly the same (again) :)
You may have already realized that we’ve never been fans of "stock." We believe your gaming hardware should feel like an extension of you, not just a piece that rolled off an assembly line.
If you are looking to add some personality to your gaming space this January, here are a few recommendations we've collected for you.
The Switch 2: Moving Past "Factory Default"
Now that the launch hype has settled, we can admit that the standard Switch 2 look is boring.
We’ve been busy in the shop working on custom housings and mods because we believe you should enjoy your Switch gaming time in a more aesthetically-filled way. If you’ve gotten your hands on the new console, you don’t have to settle for the standard look.
Whether it’s swapping to a nostalgic atomic purple or a clean matte finish, modding the Switch 2 is about reclaiming that feeling of owning something unique. Don’t forget that we can also customize the entire Switch 2, and even print on its Joy-Cons and back shell, making it look just like you want it to.
You can also add new, upgraded, hall sensing analogue stick upgrades to any of our custom Joy-Cons :)

The PS5: Nostalgia Meets Modern Haptics
We loved seeing the hype around the "30th Anniversary" grey consoles recently, but honestly? That retro aesthetic is something we’ve been passionate about for years.

There is something special about taking a high-tech DualSense controller—with all its advanced haptics and triggers—and giving it the visual DNA of the 1990s. It grounds the future in the past. If you play on PS5, a custom controller isn't just an accessory; it’s a tribute to where we all started.

The Switch Dock: Hiding the Plastic
We started making Dock Covers because we wanted our gaming spaces to be more about YOU and what you love. It’s a small touch that changes the entire vibe of the console and its dock, which usually sits there looking too regular. Right now, we are really feeling the Retro Mixtape design—it turns your high-tech console into a piece of analog art.

A Gaming Tee for 2026: What We’re Wearing
Finally, we can't talk about passion without talking about the art we wear. We design our tees to be "if you know, you know." Not loud logos, but nods to the culture we love.
Two designs we are wearing constantly right now:
- Sushi vs. Marshmallow: It’s quirky, it’s a nod to fighting games, and it doesn’t take itself too seriously.

- Arcade Vibes: For those of us who miss the neon glow of a dark arcade room.

We hope your 2026 is full of great games and hardware that feels like home.
Thanks for supporting our small shop. We promise to continue and create even more cool gaming hardware for all of you.
Happy New Year!
